How did I get here?

I blame it all on Instagram and my iPhone
It started with my phone and an app that gave me creative license to explore photography without any excuses. My camera was always with me and the app gave me inspiration beyond anything I'd seen before. I began to see the world around me in a  whole new light, through a new lens, with a new perspective.

The film, the fun, the foundation
I'd previously dabbled with film photography as an early climber in Colorado.  My fondness for developing photos in sepia tone blossomed with each new roll of film as it created an amazing "mood" with each shot. Eventually, my passion for rock climbing out-weighed the cost of 35mm film and those costs to develop it.

Weapons of Mass Creation
So...years later, with my phone in one hand and a new perspective in the other, I decided to explore photography again.  This time I invested in a digital camera, creative lenses and a computer program to put it all together. As I began to explore the various components of photography, landscapes, architecture, events, sports, portraits, etc., I discovered the part I enjoyed the most was the "post-production" aspect. Creating a "mood" with each photo has become as much a part of the process as the shot, itself.  Utilizing the best digital tools available today, I find the limitless potential of a still "unexplored world" awaits around every corner.

...and, I still blame it all on Instagram and my iPhone.
